MCC Hires New Course Superintendent

As many of you probably know, our golf course superintendent Dennis Bond has decided to retire after 15 years of excellent service to our club. Dennis is a good man that always treated me and my staff with respect. He took a lot of pride in his job and its responsibilities. We thank Dennis for his years of service and wish him many years of relaxing peace and quiet.

I am pleased to announce that we have hired a new golf course superintendent named Randy Moody. Randy lives in Rutledge, Georgia and graduated from UGA with a turf grass degree. He brings several years of experience as well as an overwhelmingly impressive resume along with him to our club. We are excited and fortunate to have Randy join our team, and looking forward to the future of our golf course. I encourage all of our members to take the time to introduce themselves to Randy when they see him riding around or working on the golf course. (He will be the bald guy with sunglasses on and won’t be angry that I described him as such!!!) He is a great guy with a lot of ability, and we hope to be able to provide him with what he needs to move our golf course forward. Bravo to your board of directors for making a great hire!!!
